Temporary carpark disruption for wall repairs

Essential maintenance to strengthen a failing retaining wall in the off-street carparking area on Homestead Road in Kerikeri, will begin next week on Monday 9 June.

Work is expected to take around one week to complete, weather permitting.

To ensure public safety, parts of the carpark will be cordoned off during the work and parking will be limited.

However, the carpark will remain open to the public throughout and appropriate signage will be in place.

The upgrades will prevent further structural deterioration of the wall. Kerikeri drivers are advised to consider alternative car parking options, as available car parks will be in hot demand.
