Summer in the Far North is a special time, as whānau flock to the coast to enjoy the sunshine, often with their dogs in tow. With beaches being busier over the holiday period, we would like to remind dog owners that a little extra care helps everyone enjoy a safe and relaxed summer.
A proposal to locate a new dump station for caravan and motorhome owners visiting Kerikeri at Te Puāwaitanga Bay of Islands Sports Hub was endorsed by the local community board during its meeting today (Wednesday 17 December).
Retailers are doing their bit to get the water conservation message out to residents and visitors by displaying the council’s Tiaki ngā wai-branded signs.
