On 10 February, after eight years of fundraising, Kerikeri Squash Club will officially open its brand-new courts at the Kerikeri Sports Complex on Waipapa Rd.
When squash courts at Kerikeri Domain were damaged by fire in 2016, club members had to travel half an hour to the nearest courts in Kaikohe to compete.
After eight years of fundraising, Kerikeri Squash Club will officially open its brand-new courts on 10 February at the Kerikeri Sports Complex on Waipapa Rd.
Boasting four glass-backed courts and ample viewing space for spectators, the new venue is a world-class sports facility that can host multiple matches including doubles games. It also meets specifications required for national tournaments.
Anyone can use the new courts – both members and non-members.
