Kai Ora Fund
The Kai Ora Fund is a collaborative approach between more than 9 different organisations across Te Tai Tokerau to support innovative projects that address food security and increase community resilience.
Since it started in 2015, more than half a million dollars has been invested in more than 150 projects in the Far North. Up to $5000 is granted per project, with an average of $130,000 distributed each year.

Northland Regional Council have opened their Climate Resilient Communities Fund, which covers the four kaupapa of wai, kai, nature and housing.
The Climate Resilient Communities Fund supports communities to undertake immediate and meaningful action to build resilience. Communities can't tackle everything alone, but we can support projects that inspire change and foster self-reliance.
Community organisations can apply for up to $40,000 plus GST for projects that build resilience in Te Taitokerau.
