Classification of Reserve in Moerewa Fronting Leaity Street

Notice is given that pursuant to the provisions of Section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977 (“Act”), the Far North District Council, is to classify the following parcel of reserve in Moerewa township as a Recreation Reserve:

• Described as: Lot 35 DP 51470
• Location: Leaity Street Moerewa adjoining Simson Park Domain

A locality plan of the site is available for inspection and viewing at the Kerikeri, Kaitaia and Kaikohe Service Centres during their standard opening hours, and online at https://www.fndc.govt.nz/whats-new/Have-your-say.

Any person or organisation may object to the proposal or may make submissions in respect of the proposal. Any person making an objection or submission should do so in writing and should state whether they wish to appear at a hearing in support of the objection or submission.

Objections or submissions can be:

• forwarded to submissions@fndc.govt.nz,
• made online via https://www.fndc.govt.nz/whats-new/Have-your-say or
• delivered in hard copy to any Council Service Centre
• by post to Submissions, Far North District Council, Private Bag 752, Kaikohe 0440.

All objections or submissions must be received by Council no later than Wednesday 17 December 2025 being a period that exceeds the requirements of the Act.
