Mangōnui dump station reopens

Mangōnui’s dump station, which was closed earlier this month after a series of blockages, has now reopened following repairs.

Faulty pipework that had become blocked between the dump station, septic tanks and pump chamber was replaced and the station at 36 Waterfront Drive is now operating normally.

Dump station users are reminded to take extra care about what they dispose of across New Zealand’s network of dump stations. Nothing should be disposed of in dumps stations other than human waste and toilet paper.
