Far North District Maintenance Intervention Strategy

The Far North District Maintenance Intervention Strategy sets out a consistent and evidence-based approach to identifying, assessing and prioritising maintenance across the district’s road network. It supports a shift from reactive repairs to planned, preventative maintenance by using clear condition ratings, intervention criteria, inspection frequencies and response timeframes. This approach helps improve safety, extend the life of road and roadside assets, strengthen network resilience.
