The proposal is to enhance the public area at Elliot Beach breaching Visual Amenity, Scale of Activity and Building within Outstanding Landscape in General Coastal zoned as a discretionary activity.
In particular the proposal involves:
change the external cladding of the managers house to a lighter shade for better durability
- relocate the manages house out of the coastal frontage area, to the ‘back’ of the development area
- construct a new garage/office building to be near (and ancilliary to) the relocated managers’ residence
construct a toilet / changing facilities block
extend car parking facilities towards the proposed toilet block to 3,312m2
Enhancement of the picnic area including wooden picnic tables.
