We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

VIDEO - Rates relief hui are a hit

We visit TeTii Waitangi marae to provide information on the changes of the Whenua Māori Amendment Act and the rating relief policies we have available. This was one of five recent council-led outreaches to iwi and hapū with support from Te Kooti Whenua Māori. Watch the video below to find out how this approach was received.
