What if my water tank runs out of water?

If you need water delivered to your property, this service is provided by private bulk water carriers.

Bulk water carriers can only collect water from FNDC authorised draw‑off points. FNDC operates and maintains these draw‑off points and applies fees and charges for the water taken.

Once water has been collected, the bulk water carrier is responsible for transporting and delivering the water to your property and for meeting drinking water regulatory requirements.

As good practice, customers should expect the bulk water carrier to provide a delivery record confirming where the water was sourced from, along with the delivery date and volume supplied.
