We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

Improving our maritime facilities

The Far North District Council and its commercial company, Far North Holdings Ltd, own and manage an extensive network of recreational and commercial wharves, boat ramps, jetties and pontoons across the Far North District.
