NOTICE OF PROPOSED KERIKERI RESERVE REVOCATION AND DISPOSAL

In accordance with the notification requirements of section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977 (“Act”) Far North District Council advises that it proposes to revoke two portions of the total area of Lot 10 DP 62588 (being 21.35 m2) as identified in blue on Drawing C1-12 as ‘Lot 10 reserve approx. encroached area’. Lot 10 DP 62588 is held as an unclassified Recreation Reserve. It is proposed that the ‘Lot 10 reserve approx. encroached area’ should have reserve status revoked to enable disposal so that an existing retaining wall within the adjoining site (Lot 2 DP 66054) which extends onto the reserve can be strengthened. Notice is given pursuant to section 24 of the Act and Council resolution 2025/5 that Far North District Council is consulting on the revocation of these areas of reserve.

Any person who wishes to make an objection or submission on the proposed revocation should do so in writing.
